Iva M. Manley, a former employee of the Lyndonville Canning Co., who enjoyed sewing and square dancing, died Tuesday (May 26, 1998) in the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, where she had been a patient for the past 21/2 years. Prior to that she lived in Applegate Manor, Medina.
Mrs. Manley, 92, lived in the Lyndonville area most of her life. Born Iva White in Eldred, Pa., in 1905, she graduated from Medina High School in 1922.
She was a member of the Lyndonville United Presbyterian Church and its Stand By Class. She also was a member of the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans and the Busy Buddies.
She married Freeman George Albone in 1924. He died in 1965. Her second husband was Harley W. Britt, whom she married in 1969, he died in 1979. She married Homer Manley in 1983, he died in 1992.
Survivors include three sons, Robert Albone of Middleport, Norman Albone of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Gerald "Manny" Albone; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday in the Lyndonville United Presbyterian Church, North Main St. Burial will be in Bates Road Cemetery, Medina.
