THELMA WILLIAMS left this world to go to her heavenly home Saturday, October 21, 2017, in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Marlow, Oklahoma, with Rev. Ron Maxfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral and Cremation Services in Marlow.

Thelma was born Friday, October 11, 1929, in Marlow, to John and Victoria (Shirley) Riley. She had attended the Doyle and Sand Hill schools. Thelma married Earnest Byron Williams in Marlow on July 3, 1954, and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1976. She had lived in the Marlow area all of her life. Thelma worked as an LPN in her younger years, but her passion was cutting hair for the Ritz Barber Shop for over 20 years. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Keith Byron Williams and wife Lynda of Marlow; a daughter, Vickie Davis of Marlow; four grandchildren, Craig Byron Davis and wife Andrea, Christy Harmeyer, Rachel Blundell and Kirsten Williams. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elbert Riley of Duncan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Keith Williams; a great-granddaughter, Rebel Womack; nine brothers; and three sisters.
