Graveside memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, at Mount Pleasant Cemtery in rural Stanford, with Mr. Vernon L. Oakley officiating.
There will be no visitation. Quiram Funeral Home of Atlanta is handling the arrangements.
Ms. McDaniel was retired from the Lincoln Developmental Center in 1982.
She was born Nov. 16, 1917, in Stanford to Ira and Hattie Prince Hulva. She married Alvin McDaniel in Gary, Ind. on Sept. 25, 1938. Mr. McDaniel died March 12, 1996.
Surviving are one daughter, Bonna (and husband Scott) Johnson of Mason, Ohio; one son, Gary (and wife Pat) McDaniel of Armington; two grandsons, Willie McDaniel of Bloomington and Les (and wife Whitney) McDaniel of Lubbock, Texas; and one great- grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
