Eleanora "Toni" Lorraine Headden Denaux, 92, of Matthews, North Carolina, widow of Louis Edward Denaux, Jr., entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. Toni was born November 30, 1929 in Charleston South Carolina, daughter of the late Shep Headden and Eula Benton Headden. She worked for Ivey's Department Store in the Tulip Room, Carolina Cut Right Pharmacy in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a homemaker for her three children. She volunteered at Myers Park elementary school in Charlotte, NC., and her interest was the art of painting. Toni is survived by two daughters: Donna M. Denaux West ( Tal West) of Southport, NC, and Shonah A. Denaux Gates of Lexington, SC, and three great-great-grandchildren: Adeline Martin, Addison Martin and Luke West. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Lucille Denaux. Toni was predeceased by brothers & sisters: Rudy Headden, Bobby Headden, Leroy Headden, Erain Headden, Evelyn Headden, Eva Mae Headden, and Francis Headden.
