Howard Preyton Abercrombie, 87, husband of the late Donna Ellenburg Abercrombie, of Seneca, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Cottingham Hospice House.
A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Abercrombie was the son of the late Glazner and Frances Alexander Abercrombie. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Distribution Manager with Greenfield Industries. Mr. Abercrombie was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Abercrombie is preceded in death by his son: Howard Wayne Abercrombie, Jr.; brothers: Wilmer Abercrombie and Harold Abercrombie; sisters: Beatrice Orr, Gladys Smith, Pauline Orr and Vera Burrell.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 1, 2022, at Alexander Family Cemetery.
