A former Jackson County resident and graduate of Ripley High School, he was a veteran of World War II and had been employed at an atomic energy plant in Cincinnati.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel; one son, Jimmy; a brother, Paul of Ripley; and his mother, Mrs. Fae Mays of Ripley.
The body will arrive at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, Monday.
Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Goshen Baptist Church at Kentuck by Rev. Veril Winters. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
