Ethel F. Mays, age 91 of Florida, formerly of Ross, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013. She was born on October 8, 1921 in Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of Julian and Minnie (Thomas) Haynes.

Ethel was employed as a cafeteria worker at Proctor and Gamble, Miami Valley Laboratories, retiring in 1985. While in Florida, she served as a poll worker for the Democratic Party.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oscar Mays in 1961; her sons, James and infant son, Joseph; one brother, Junior and one sister, Janie.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pamela Mays; her granddaughter, Gina (Timothy) Potts; a great grandson, Wyatt Potts; and other loving relatives and friends.

There will be a graveside service at Venice Cemetery in Ross, Ohio on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11 a.m.
