Clarence Eugene Silver, 80, of Bakersville, NC passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 at Lakebridge Health Care Center.

He was a native of Bakersville, NC and was a son of the late Robert E. Silver and Maude Mae Atkins Silver.

Mr. Silver was a retired veteran having served his country in the U.S. Marines. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward L. Silver and Bruce R. Silver; a sister, Ethel Crewe.

Survivors include: As per Find a Grave's new rules the survivor section of the obituary is omitted.

Funeral service for Mr. Silver will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 2, 2022 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Rev. Tim Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the service hour. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
