Arthur proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge.
He worked for Union Pacific Railroad and retired after many years of service.
Arthur later worked in maintenance at the First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; siblings, Nora Jenkins and Frances Darrow; grandparents, Joseph C. Darrow and Fannie Darrow.
Arthur is survived by his sons, Jonathan Cox and wife Jaclyn of OKC, OK and Daniel Cox of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Patricia Cox of Stigler, OK; grandchildren, Breanna Cox of Stigler, OK, Chris Cox and Genevieve Cox, both of OKC, OK; brother-in-law, Jack Darrow of Topeka, KS; along with other family members and friends.
