Jewell D. Delrue, 83, of Toledo, passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.

She was born January 1, 1939, in Liberty, Kentucky, to Ruba and Bertha (Carmichael) Mathews.

Jewell was a very honorable person, and always had a laugh and a giggle to share. She enjoyed gardening and quilting.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary (Robert) Cramer and Brenda (Mickey) Roy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.

Visitation will be from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 25, 2022, at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo 43611. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:00, son-in-law, Pastor Mickey Roy, presiding. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Toledo.
