GLADFELTER – On January 17, 1953, at 1:30 a.m., at York Hospital, Howard O. Gladfelter, husband of Ada Kessler Gladfelter, Hanover Junction, aged 73 years, 8 months, 29 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in Shaffer's Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

HOWARD O. GLADFELTER, husband of Ada Kessler Gladfelter, died in the York Hospital Jan. 17, 1953 of a heart condition.
His age was 73 years, 8 months, and 29 days.
Life-long resident of the Hanover Junction area, he was a faithful member of Zion Church. He had 52 years of service with the Pennsylvania R.R. retiring in 1950.
Surviving besides his wife, are a son, Wilbur L. Gladfelter; a grandchild, Mrs. Betty Allison; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Albertus and John Gladfelter, and two sisters, Mrs. H. F. Bowman, and Mrs. Gertie Gladfelter.
His funeral was held at Geiple Funeral Home in Glen Rock on Jan. 20. Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
