Marilyn F. (Smith) Alldredge, 83, passed away on March 24, 2018, after a brief illness.
She was born January 19 1935, the oldest of four children, born to Marvin and LaVoi (McCammon) Smith in Georgetown, Idaho. Her family moved to Pocatello in 1943. She attended schools in Pocatello while growing up.

Marilyn married Wendell Alldredge at her parent's home in Pocatello, Idaho on June 21, 1952. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they had five children, Carole, Norman, Carla, Dixie and Kent.

Marilyn was a homemaker while their children were young and growing up. Later she worked for Mountain Bell Telephone, Sears, AMI Semiconductors and Mike's Music in Pocatello. Marilyn and Wendell lived in California from January 1986 until July 1991, when Wendell retired. At that time they returned to live in Pocatello. Marilyn taught the piano in her later years. Music was Marilyn's passion. She sang with "The Singing Mother's" during General Conference in Salt Lake Tabernacle twice. Marilyn also traveled to Europe, singing with "The Cameratas" on tour where she sang at the Vatican, twice. She has sang in several community plays and operas and in many capacities. When she wasn't singing, she was accompanying others on the piano or organ for them to perform.

Marilyn and Wendell enjoyed traveling together during their later married years. Their travels included trips to Mount Rushmore, Santa Fe, N.M. Atlanta and Macon, GA, Oregon, Washington and Mexico and many other places. They rode their bikes together exploring San Francisco, Angel Island and several other places of interest.

She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many different callings, including in the Relief Society presidency.

On June, 2012, Marilyn and Wendell celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary together. Wendell passed on January 10, 2013.

In the summer of 2017, she moved to Yakima to be closer to her daughters.

Marilyn is survived by her children: Carole (Herbert) Mann, Macon, Georgia; Norman Alldredge, Yakima, Washington; Carla (Ike) Allred, Yakima, Washington; Dixie (Rockie) Moch, Eugene, Oregon; and Kent Alldredge, Meridian, Idaho, 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
