Daughter of Criss Black and Camilla McEntire Black. She was retired from Spring City after 34 years as a sewing machine operator and worked as Senior Hostess at Belk for over 10 years. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and enjoyed her mission work at church and through Meals on Wheels. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 69 years, Marvin Epps; son, Thomas Marvin Epps; sisters, Bobbie Hollingshed, Johnnie Cline, and Muriel Hollingshed; and brothers, Kay Black, and Charles Black. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Jerry Prewett; three grandchildren, Candace (Jeffery) Bivens, Crystal (Jason) Glass, and Stephen Prewett; seven great-grandchildren, Arabella and Dalilah Worsham, Lia and Troy Glass, Hunter, Jojo, and Tristan Prewett; and two brothers, Wayne (Barbara) Black and Kent Black.
