Bingham remarried Apr. 13, 1830 in Chaplin to the widow Lydia Smith Hewitt(Avery). Together, they had four more children: Priscilla Bingham, b. 1831; Mary Smith, b. 1832; Laura Webb, b. 1835; and George Washington, b. 1837. Bingham is listed on the 1850 US Census Mortality Index as having died from dysentary.
