LaRee Hart Sieverts was born February 12, 1937. She passed away peacefully on July 13th, 2022.

Mom grew up in Preston, Idaho with loving parents Reed Lowe and Letha Gilbert Hart, and her sister Nancy. They moved to Salt Lake City where she graduated from East High School and worked at the family music store, Hart Brothers Music.

She met Jack, the love of her life, just before he served his mission to the Netherlands. Later they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They raised eight children in the great community of Granite.

Mom was known for her fabulous cooking and baking, especially her homemade bread and delicious pies. She was an excellent seamstress of costumes, quilts, prom dresses, wedding dresses, tablecloths, you name it-she could sew it!

Mom loved documenting everything through pictures and video, even if it was of the same event year after year.

She lived to serve her family, friends, and neighbors. She was the night owl of the family, always staying up late to finish projects of all sorts.

A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings, including a mission with dad to the Netherlands.

She loved to travel with dad, always taking the scenic route by motorcycle or car. Our family camping trip to Flaming Gorge was something she and the entire family looked forward to every year.

She took everything in stride. If you knew her, you loved her. Sorry for the rest of you, we had the best!

We would like to thank Canyons Hospice for their incredible care of our mom. Veronica Madrid, Tiana Miera, Callie Sainsbury, and Kelli Christensen. Also, Alecia Gerke and Joanne Schiff for their home care. The staff at the Beehive Home have been particularly good to her as well. Thank you all!

Survived by children; John (Kimberlee), Tony (Keri), Vicky Anderl (Perrin), son-in-law Lane Wardrop, Bonnie Mason (Ryan), Angie Morell (Mark), Becky DeSpain (James), Stan (Cami); 34 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister Nancy Clark (Steve).

Preceded in death by daughter Pollyanna Wardrop (2003) and husband Jack Sieverts (2010).

Viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday, July 17th at Larkin Sunset Gardens. 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy UT. Funeral service is Monday at 11:00 am July 18th, at Glacial Park Chapel. 2675 Mt. Jordan Road, Sandy UT, where a viewing will also be held before the service from 9:30 - 10:45 am.
