Adalaide Laval, 89, a long-time resident of Chelan, died Monday in a Wenatchee nursing home.
Mrs. Laval was born Oct. 9, 1880 at Vancouver, B.C., and she married Charles Laval. As he was a newspaper correspondent in China, she was with him in that country many years, making periodic trips to Chelan. After his death in 1935 she came to Chelan to maker her home here.
From 1948 until 1958 she worked for Howe-Sound Mining Co.
There are no known survivors.
