Rosie Lee Hanshew Warren 100, of Sweetwater passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Sterling Hills Nursing & Rehab.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 16, 2022 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Kevin Shipp officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. A visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, July 15, 2022 at the funeral home.

Rosie was born September 30, 1921 in Morgan City, (Bosque County), TX to Andrew J. and Callie Etta (Wilborn) Adkison. She attended schools in Iredell, TX and married Walter Raymond Hanshew on October 5, 1942 in Glen Rose, TX.

She has lived in Sweetwater since 1948 and was a member of Avondale Baptist Church. Rosie took Medication courses at TSTI then worked as a medication aide for 16 years at the Roscoe Nursing Home.

Rosie is survived by her daughter, Jean Hash of Burleson, TX; son, Johnny Hanshew and wife Nita of Arlington, TX; sister, Gracie Hambrick of Iredell, TX; daughter-in-law, Theda Hanshew of Sweetwater, TX; ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Walter Raymond Hanshew and Coston Warren; sons, Lonnie Glen Hanshew and Charles LeRoy Hanshew; and a grandson, Danny Hash.

Pallbearers will be Keith Hash, Danny Hash, Charles Hanshew, Ricky Hanshew, Gerry Hanshew, Terry Hanshew and Ronnie Hanshew. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeb Inman, Steve Zerr and Brad Sherrod.
