Jean Carmack Nevins, age 80 of Livingston passed from this life on Sunday morning, July 10, 2022 from her daughter's home in Tompkinsville, Kentucky. She was born in Crossville, Tennessee on February 21, 1942 to the late Domer and Sarah Elizabeth Crabtree Carmack.

Jean was a member of the Livingston Church of Christ where she enjoyed the fellowship with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Jean loved her family and helping others.

Jean leaves behind her daughter: Ann Thompson and husband Jerry of Tompkinsville; great-granddaughter: Paisley Dawn Thompson; daughter-in-law: Drema Thompson of Liberty, Kentucky; brothers: Hoy Carmack and wife Rosie of Cleveland Ohio, Ronnie Carmack and wife Deb of Livingston, and Roy Carmack and wife Kathy of Wisconsin; sisters: Mazie Bilbrey of Livingston, Billie Pelfrey and husband Dennis of Crossville, Linda Pelfrey and husband Jackie of Jamestown, and Phyllis Pelfrey and husband Marvin of Crossville.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Nevins; grandson: Brance Thompson; brothers: Shirley Carmack and Frankie Carmack; sister: Ila Ann Henry; and two infant siblings.

Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Jerry Thompson and Dwain Bilbrey officiating. Burial followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.
