William Morton, farmer, sec 19; PO Milton; was born in Chatham County, NC in 1800, and is the son of John and Annie Poe Morton, natives of NC, who emigrated at an early day to Tennessee, and thence to this county [Pike], and settled on sec 14, in 1830. Both died in this township [Milton].
