Loretta Bernice Fields, 73, of Paris Crossing died at 12:10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown with Ira Holt and Neal McCory officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Jennings County.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesleyan Church in Seymour or the donor's choice of charities.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her husband, Ervin Fields; sons, Ronald (Karen) Terrell of Brownstown and Larry (Sheila) Terrell of North Vernon; stepsons, Alvin and Evan Fields; a stepdaughter, Linda Gaye (Joe) Applegate of Florida; brothers, Kelcie (Phyllis) Axsom of Norman and Harold (Connie) Axsom of Bloomington; sisters, Loberta Fleetwood of Bedford and JoAnn (Mark) Henderson of Evansville; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Daughter of Eathel Axsom and Elsie Croucher. She married Ervin Fields 17 Aug 1981 at Seymour.
