Funeral services for Flora Mae Malone will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2009 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend James Greer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball.
Visitation will be at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 5 - 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Mrs. Malone, 82, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Centerbury House.
Mrs. Malone was a member of Lee Heights Family Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Malone; parents, Lodrick and Vera McPhatter Gauthier and daughter, Barbara Lea McKnight.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Robert L. Malone and wife, Catherine; son-in-law, Herbert McKnight and wife, Patsy; half-sister, Connie Richard; grandchildren, Valerie and husband John, Herbert Jr. and wife Missy, James and wife Laura, Carrie and husband Brian, Kelly and husband Dallas, Amber and husband Clay, Bobby and wife Alice, and Amy; great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Brenden, Duncan, Mason, Bailey, Chloe, Garrett, Jace and Catie.
Pallbearers will be Herbert McKnight Jr., Dallas Baxter, James McKnight, Brian Dugger, Bobby Malone and Brenden Malone.
