Born in Clearwater, Kans., Jan. 26, 1888, Mr. Corbin spent his early life there and was graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Pharmacy. Active in sports, he played college football and was a member of the college male quartet.
He later was employed as a pharmacist in Great Bend, Kan., and in Denver, Colo., where he married Ida Mary Grunwald.
During World War I he served overseas with the U.S. Cavalry.
In 1922 the family moved to the Chelan Valley where he served as a druggist. In 1925 they moved to the Wenatchee Valley and he was employed in the drug store at Cashmere and Wenatchee. In 1931, he purchased and orchard at Manson which he operated until retirement in 1964.
Surviving are: two sons, Lowell C. Corbin, Spokane and Dale M. Corbin, Olympia; a sister, Mrs. Cora Shacklett, Denver; and 5 grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death two years ago.
