Son of Lewis Clark Corbin & Ida Mary Grunwald, grew up on an apple orchard in Manson, Washington, graduated from Chelan High School in 1946 and attended Washington State University. Served as a cryptographer for the US Army during the Korean war, stationed in France. Held various positions for the State of Washington.
