Albert Leslie "Dub" Lewis, 82, 2452 N. Broadway, died Sunday at a local hospital after an extended illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Council Bluffs and retired in 1952 after many years with Western Weighting and Inspection Bureau.
Mr. Lewis was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church. His wife, Hazel, died in 1968,
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. David (Norma Jean) Olson and Mrs. Gene (Dororthy) Haight, both of Council Bluffs; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marion and James T., both of Council Bluffs; two sisters Sadie Smith of San Leandro, Calif., and Cecile Henning of Biloxi, Miss.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cutler Chapel. The Rev. John C. P. Gill will officiate. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetery.
The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Memorials are suggested to the Iowa Heart Association.
