Chelan – Dorothy O. Bedient, 63, of Chelan, died in the hospital here Saturday.

She was born at Davenport Feb. 17, 1904 and on June 20, 1925, married Richard Bedient in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

They moved to the Chelan-Manson area in 1939.

Surviving are: her husband; one daughter, Jean Barbre, Oroville; a son, Virgil Bedient, Manson; 6 grandchildren; her mother, Marie Shook and her sisters and brothers, Jessie, Irma, Frank, Arnim, Ernest, Raymond, Kenneth and Arnold Moss, in Spokane.

Smith Funeral Home in charge.
