James Robert Cummins passed away on June 27th at the Grenada Hospital and funeral services were held at Milligan Springs on Saturday afternoon, June 28th, with the Rev. J. A. Wade officiating. Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cummins was born in Attala County on March 7, 1885. He was a member of the Doty Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Minnie Lee Cummins of Stewart; three daughters, Mrs. Asa Morris and Mrs. Charles Allday, both of Grenada, Miss Essie Cummins of Stewart; a son, Clayton L. Cummins of Stewart; one brother, Joe Cummins of Duck Hill, and four grandchildren.
