Robert "Bob" L. Richardson. September 04, 1941 - June 29, 2022
Robert (Bob) L. Richardson, 80, of Booneville, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was born September 4, 1941, in Landis, Arkansas to Ezra Coy and Delpha Massey Richardson.

He graduated from Caraway High School, then enlisted as an Airman in the United States Navy in 1962. He was an aircraft-engine mechanic on active duty throughout the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1968. He surrendered to ministry at 26 years of age and was a pastor for over 40 years in both California and Arkansas. He earned an Associate of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, TN and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary in Jacksonville, FL. Bob was an avid wildlife outdoorsman and dedicated many seasons to teaching his children and grandchildren to respect nature. His patriotism did not end with his honorable discharge. He remained active in supporting this country until his passing.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Ed Richardson; one sister, Flo Cude Harness; and his parents.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10:00 am at Roberts Funeral Home in Booneville with Pastor Chester Gray and Pastor Stu Smithson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. There will be no graveside service.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carrol Stevens Richardson of the home; two sons, Timothy (Sheila) Richardson of Booneville and Scott Richardson of Bentonville, AR; one daughter, Cyndi Faught-Stone of Lavaca, AR; four sisters, Loretta Horton of Branson, MO, Ida Mae (Jerry) Hale of Mountain View, AR, Louise Douglas Yates of Dallas, TX, and Racine Flores of Wichita, KS; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his nephews: Tony Richardson, Mike Richardson, Kenneth Richardson, Dewain Richardson, Brad Cude, and Samuel Richardson.
