He was born in Landis and had lived in Trumann since 1970.
He was a retired elementary principal for the Trumann School District and a member of the First Baptist Church in Trumann.
He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and his parents, Coy Ezra and Delphia Massey Richardson.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lenora Cook Richardson of the home; 4 sons, Kenneth Richardson of Harrisburg, Dewain Richardson of Trumann, Michael Richardson of Houston, Texas, and Anthony "Tony" Richardson of Trumann; a brother, Robert Richardson of Booneville; 4 sisters, Loretta Horton of Marshall, Ida Mae Hale of Mountain View, Racine Flores of Wichita, Kan., and Louise Yates of Dallas; 11 grand-children; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, with burial in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the directions of Thompson Funeral Home.
