Sarepta (Duncan) Beaty Osborne

Sarepta B. Osborne, 95, 921 Monticello Road, Somerset, died Saturday, April 20, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland, following a long illness.

A Scott County native, she was born October 27, 1895, daughter of the late Hairm and Bernetta Hatfield Duncan. She was the former owner of Cumberland Club, and of the Baptist faith.

Her husband, Walter Beatty, preceded her in death.

Survivors include a brother, Garfield Duncan, Knightstown, Indiana; four sisters, Donna Akins, Chattanooga, Ida Hall, Somerset, Josephine Benton, Cincinnati, and Nancy Vaughn, Muncie, Indiana; a daughter-in-law, Effie Beatty, Eubank; seven grandchildren, Roy Beatty, Murry Hall, Sarepta Phillippi, Ruth Beatty, Joseph Beatty, Walter Beatty, and William Beatty; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Edward and Clarence Beatty; three brother, Linsey, James, and Finley Duncan; and two sisters, Lucy Stuller and Eta Lewis.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Rev. John Helton officiating.

Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
