Clarence Beaty, 63, Eubank, died Wednesday, May 6, at his residence after a three month illness.

Born March 30, 1918, in Tateville, he was the son of the late Walter Beaty and Sarepta Duncan Beaty who survives.

He was formerly a supervisor in a gasket factory in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was baptized October 25, 1931, at the High Street Baptist Church.

Married in 1940 in Whitley City, he is survived by his wife, the former Effie Phelps.

Other survivors are three sons, Walter Beaty, Erlanger, Joseph Charles Beaty, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Roy Beaty, Eubank; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Hall, Erlanger, Sarepta Phillippi, Williamstown, and Ruth Beaty, Erlander, and eight grandchildren.

A son, William Hiram Beaty, died April 30, 1951.

The Rev. John Helton will conduct services Saturday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the Somerset Undertaking Company with burial to follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
