Audrey Jean (Higley) Sheerer, 83, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Crystal Waters Personal Care home to join her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Lois (Evingham) Higley and her sister, Arvella (Higley) Martin with Christ.

Audrey Jean Higley was born on August 10, 1935 and married Elwin J. Sheerer on July 24, 1951. They were married for 67 years.

In addition to her husband, Elwin J. Sheerer, Shelocta; she is survived by: Roy O. Sheerer, Shelocta; Rex A. Sheerer, Cochranton; Robin K. Bonn, Litchfield; Renee Parker, Franklin; as well as nine grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

After graduating from Wesley College in 1989, she served as a United Methodist Local Pastor in many places for many years.

Audrey loved to sing and could play the piano, French horn, and trumpet. She was loved by all and will be missed by many. Her last wish was: love each other as God loves us.

The trumpets of Heaven will be playing as you are announced to worship with Christ; God be with you. Love from all.

The Sheerer family is being assisted by the Rairigh-Bence Funeral home of Clymer. There will be no services.
