Don Wade Funderburk, age 74, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away at home on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
He was born on April 5, 1948, in Murfreesboro, the son of William Harrison Funderburk and Margie Ann Lockeby Funderburk. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lorie Mechele Funderburk; his parents; his brother, Alton Wayne Funderburk; and two nephews, Brandon Funderburk and Michael Funderburk and his former wife, Betty Jo Funderburk.
Don was a United States Navy veteran and was a longtime employee of Kellogg Brown and Root and Jacobs. He was always there to help his family in their time of need, and he will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law; his grandchildren and a host of wonderful friends.
