Memorial services for Richard A. Broyles, 77, who died were held Saturday, December 11 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Mr. Broyles was born and raised in Indianola and graduated from Indianola High School. He was a retired mechanic for the Department of Transportation in Iowa and a member of New Virginia Methodist Church. He moved to Dothan two years ago and lived there the remainder of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, VIRGINIA Broyles of Dothan, AL; son, RICHARD L. (Carole) Broyles of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, STACY Broyles of Joliet, IL, ERIC Broyles (Adrienne Richards) of Huntsville, AL; sisters, FRANCIS Stalter of New Virginia, VIRGINIA Chambers and LUCILLE Henry of Indianola; and brother, JUNIOR Broyles of Indianola. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, VICTOR Broyles.
