Carl was in the US Army for 22 years and they frequently moved to several locations. After Carl retired from the Army, they lived in Medaryville. In Dorothy's later years, she lived in Francesville. Services were at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville, IN on June 23, 2002 at 2:00 PM. James Ketchen officiated as Pastor. Dorothy was a member of Medaryville Christian Church for many years. In her later years she was a member of Francesville Christian Church. "She loved her family and Jesus with all her heart."
