Charles Winingham 77, of Fieldale, passed away on June 6, 2022, at Sovah of Martinsville.

He was born on June 29, 1944, in Tazwell, the son of the late Robert M. Winingham and the late Maxie Johnston Winingham.

Charles was also preceded in death by a sister Milia Sage, and brothers; RJ and Jr Winingham.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Bonnie Winingham, son and daughter–in–law; John "Marty" Winingham (Jonquil) two daughters and sons–in–law; Tammy Purdy (Bill), Brandi Stultz (Scott). Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren brother Roger Winingham and sister and brother-in-law; Thelma Matney (Lawrence) several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14 from 6- 8 p.m. in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Bassett Funeral Service with Pastor JD Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Old Center Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
