Clarence Allen Hill for the past 27 years a resident of Klamath County passed away in this city Tuesday, September 3, 1940 following an illness of but twelve days. He was a native of Willis County, Illinois and at the time of his death was 73 years 3 months and 19 days. He is survived by the wife Olive E. Hill, two sons, Ralph and Clarence E. Hill of Klamath Falls, Ore., a daughter Mrs. Olive Estelle Marshfield of Olene, two sisters Mrs. Blanche Hale and Miss Edith Hill of Colorado, and Mrs. Mattie Gallagher of Ennis, Texas.

Clarence Allen Hill, passed away in this city September 3, 1940 following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Earl Whitlock Funeral Home on Tuesday September 5, 1940 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Victor Phillips pastor of the First Methodist Church officiating. Commitment and interment in the family plot at Mount Laki Cemetery.
