Steven Gilbert Pulsipher, our dear beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 75 after a very long and courageous battle with Parkinson disease.

Steven was born in Los Angeles, California on November 25, 1946 to Charles Clyde and Melba Eileen Ottley Pulsipher. He was number 9 of 10 children.

He served a fulltime Latter Day Saint Mission to Toronto, Calgary, Canada and then attended Brigham Young University where he graduated with a degree in business with a minor in finance.

There he met his wife Connie McDaniel and they were married on September 4, 1969 in the Salt Lake City, Utah temple. They are the parents of 4 children, Jennifer, Alisa, Derek and Heather.

He was employed by R.C. Willey for 29 years where he was the Vice President over flooring. He also represented R.C. Willey's in the NFA (Natioinal Floorcovering Alliance) treasurer for many years. He loved his work and really missed it and his associates when he retired in 2010 because of his health. He was highly respected at Willey's and was well known and respected throughout the floorcovering business industry.

He loved family history and spent hours enjoying the research. He also served a Church service mission in the family History Department. He served faithfully in many church callings and was always there for his family. He moved us into our new home on Oak Valley Drive 46 years ago and all 4 of our children were raised here. He was very hands on and involved in the building of our home. He loved to travel and was able to visit many countries and islands before his illness. His main hobbies were photography and building model railroad layouts.

He is survived by his wife Connie, their children Jennifer Johnson (Rob), Alisa Pulsipher, Derek Pulsipher (Ra'Shelle), Heather Claunch (Floyd), and their 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter: Katie, Kyler, Jacob, McKenna, Cera, Ashlyn, Abigayle, Charlotte, Gentry, Madelyn, Spencer, Brynleigh, Hailey, William, Gracelyn. He is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister: Lee (Ruth), Dave (JoAnn), Doug (Sally), Norma (Paul).

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A viewing will be held Wednesday evening June 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Alta Canyon Chapel, 2400 E Alta Canyon Drive and Thursday, June 9, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the same location. A service will follow beginning at 11:00 am.

We wish to express our gratitude to the Canyon home and hospice and the Beehive home of Riverton for the loving care they gave to Steve and his family.
