Celia E Locklin - Daughter of Samuel Locklin and Celia Zachry.

Sister of Nancy Ann, James Zachry Sr, William Lawson Sr, Samuel G, Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" and Alfred H Locklin.

Celia married, 1 Sept 1835 in Walton Co., GA (Walton County Marriages, 1832-1837, Book C, Page 107A), Reason Wilcoxon. ("Wayfarers in Walton" and Early GA marriage records transcribed his name as Russeau Williams. Celia's son is listed in the Will of Samuel W Locklin as Samuel Josiah Willcoxon. His CSA military record is also listed as Wilcoxon. I believe Celia must have died from complications of childbirth or shortly thereafter as her husband, Reason, remarried 30 Jan 1838 in Jones Co., GA, to Caroline T. Franks. Samuel Josiah was enumerated in the 1850 Walton Co., GA Census as Samuel J Locklin living in the household of his grandfather, Samuel Locklin,

Mother of Samuel Josiah Willcoxon (surname spelling as listed in Samuel W Locklin's Will).

Granddaughter of Samuel "William" Locklin Sr & Agniss/Nancy Stevenson/Stinson. and John R Zachry and Sarah Hay.

Celia died before 12 July 1849, as she is listed as a deceased daughter in the will of her father. It is assumed, as mentioned above, that Celia died in childbirth, about 1836.
