Linda Sue Scruggs Bowles, 74, a loving mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully Friday, October 23, 2015, surrounded by her family in Burleson. Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7, at Southcliff Baptist Church.

Linda was born July 20, 1941, in Chillicothe to Jessie and Tassie Stephens Scruggs. They preceded her in death, along with two brothers and one sister.

Linda retired from Lockheed after many years. She loved her family and , most of all, her grandchildren. Survivors include: son, J. B. "Sonny" Bowles III and wife, Lise; daughter, Jo Beth Ferland; sisters, Betty Foster and Patricia Cameron and husband, Pat; grandchildren, Ashley and McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Pac and Marilyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, all of whom will miss her smile and laughter.
