PICKENS, SC - August 31 - Norman Eugene Cisson, 24, of Cleveland, was killed instantly in a motorcycle accident on the Pickens-Brevard Highway Saturday.
Mr. Cisson was a son of the late Wade and Mary Trammel Cisson. He was employed at Slater Mills.
Surviving are his wife, the former Bobbie Ruth Morris, a sister, Mrs. Margie Hubbard of Brevard, North Carolina; two half-sisters, Miss Betty Porter and Miss Barbara Porter; his grandmothers, Mrs. Laura Cisson of Pickens and Mrs. Nannie Brown of Greenville.
Funeral services will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Monday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. H. A. Newton, the Rev. J. E. McNeece and the Rev. Paul Tankersley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth McJunkin, Larry Hendricks, Blyde Burgess, O. D. Breedlove, Vernon Cisson, and Bertram Trotter.
Honorary escort will be deacons of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and members of the Bible Class of Saluda Hill Baptist Church.
After 10 a.m. Sunday, the body will be at the home.
