Wyoming - Funeral services for Roy C. Finkenbinder, 81, were held at Hayden Funeral home June 19. Burial was in Wyoming cemetery. Mr. Finkenbinder died suddenly June 16 while at Central park near Center Jct. He was born Nov. 13, 1892 at Carlisle, Pa., son of Benjamin and Alice Bear Finkenbinder. He was married to Fannie Boldosser Jan. 18, 1912 at Carlisle. The couple moved to Iowa in 1926 and farmed in the Wyoming area until 1946, when they moved into town. He had lived at Maquoketa the past two years. Surviving are one son, William, Wyoming; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Mildred) Mohr, Monmouth, and Mrs. Dale (Edna) Varolim, Maquoketa; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, two grandchildren and three brothers.
