Survivors included his wife, Baptistina; five sons, Neftali, Abel, and Alejandro Aparicio Jr., all of Corpus Christi, Ricardo Aparicio of California, and Samuel Aparicio with the Marines at Camp Pendleton, California; three daughters, Mrs. Gloria Morgan of Corpus Christi, and Mrs. Esther Galvan, and Mrs. Nancy Blocker, both of California; a brother, Elias Aparicio; and three sisters, Catarina Rodriguez, Mrs. Julia Chacon, and Mrs. Elida Ortiz, all of Corpus Christi ("Corpus Christi Times," March 29, 1978).
