Richard "Terry" Anderson, age 60, of Lithonia passed away from a two year battle with throat cancer on Monday, June 30, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia. A native of Dekalb County, GA, Mr. Anderson was a lifelong resident of Lithonia, worked for LaFarge for 27 years, was a member of Rock Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by wife, Paula Anderson of Lithonia; children, Tracey and Daren Allison of Dacula; Todd and Ginger Anderson of Calhoun; Amanda Tucker of Loganville; grandchildren, Alana and Paige Allison, Caroline and William Anderson, Chandler and Carlee Tucker; brother, Rogers and Linda Anderson of Orlando, FL. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 6 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
