Lawrence "Mackie" Bailey, son of the late Ervin Ernest Bailey and Stella (Nash) Bailey, was born in Reynolds, Missouri, on January 11, 1947. He departed this life at his residence in Centerville, Missouri, on April 20, 2022, at the age of 75.

On April 9, 1966, in Bunker, Missouri, Mackie was united in marriage to Wanda Gordon and to this loving union four children were born. Mackie enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching old westerns. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his kids and grandkids.

Mackie was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Irvin, Elmer and Raymond Bailey, six sisters, Ruby Vance, Dessie Chitwood, Myrtle Creek, Elsie Bailey, Melba Bedwell and Susie Bailey, and one great-grandson, Ryan Sullivan.

Mackie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda Bailey of Centerville, Missouri, one son, Lawrence Bailey Jr. and wife Eleonor of Bunker, Missouri, three daughters, Tammy Vinson and husband Mike of Centerville, Missouri, Glenda Brawley and husband Tim of Centerville, Missouri, and Jennifer Fleener and husband Matt of Salem, Missouri, one sister, Delpha Kalb of Bloomsdale, Missouri, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mackie will be deeply missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing.

Visitation: Monday, April 25, 2022, 11AM-1PM at McSpadden Funeral Home, Bunker, Missouri. Funeral at 1PM. Minister: Pastor Ronnie Parker

Burial: Polk Memorial Cemetery

Pallbearers: Christopher Brawley, John Vinson, Michael Vinson, Steven Vinson, Braiden Fleener and Dillon Fleener
