Funeral service for Susie Bailey was January 14, 2011 at Pleasant Union Methodist Church with Gary Chilton officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Dent County Memorial Chapel, Salem.
Music was provided by recorded selections.
Interment was in the Polk Cemetery, Reynolds County.
Pallbearers were Scott Bedwell, Steve Broyles, Bryant Garis, Seth Martin, Kyle Parsons and Dewayne Skaggs. Honorary pallbearers were Austin Ellis, Avery Ellis, Cody Parsons and Timothy Sutton.
Ms. Bailey was born December 17, 1943 in Reynolds to Pete and Stella Bailey. Ms. Bailey died January 8, 2011 at the age of 67 years.
Survivors include her children, Toni Parsons, Teri Ellis, James Ellis and Travis Ellis; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Delphia Kalb; and brother, Mackie Bailey.
Preceding her in death were five brothers and five sisters.
