André Jean Francois was born in Nolivos Leogane on October 8, 1940. He is the second of seven children of mother Videlia Sanon and father Lekcius Vernet. He is a father of ten children, thirty-one grandchildren, and nine great grandchidren. He was skilled through out his life and worked as an entrepreneur for over 25 years. He held and lead a large number of properties that produced Sugar cane and supplied the Leogane area. His work ethic and professionalism were unparalleled. He was a staple in his community. After an extensive career, he left Haiti in 1978 to U.S.A especially at Belle Glade, Florida. He lived there for the rest of his life until he was called home. In 2014, he was baptized and became a member of the Seven Day Adventist Church "Salem of Jacksonville, Florida. He loved to spend his time caring for his grandchildren.
André Jean François Vernet was a caring, loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, a devout member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed playing, cooking, singing and telling people about God. He will forever be loved and remembered as a vibrant spirit and benefactor in his community.
