Illegitimate daughter of King João IV of Portugal and unknown mother. She was a convent nun who resided in the Convent of Santa Teresa de Jesus, in Carnide, where she died. She was responsible for several charities and was a great promoter of the works carried out in the convent where she lived and in the Convent of São João da Cruz, also in Carnide. She wore the Carmelite habit from 1656 until her death.
