Charles passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022, just days after his 82nd birthday, at his home on Ottertail Lake with his wife at his side and under the gentle care provided by Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Charles Renold Aldrich was born to Renold and Elsie (Estermann) Aldrich on May 7, 1940, in Wadena, MN. He attended Hewitt Elementary and Bertha High School before graduating with a bachelor's degree from Bemidji State College. Charles was united in marriage with Nancy Jo Wegner on December 29, 1962, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Bertha. Chuck was employed with the Louisiana Gas Services in New Orleans, LA, and later became the President, He used time away from work to pursue his interests in hunting, fishing and golfing. His family and friends found him to be a quiet, focused and hardworking man.
Preceding Charles in death were his parents, Renold and Elsie; an infant sister; son, Bradley; and grandson, Nathaniel.
