Delaware Archives - French and Indian War Rolls 1754-1703 show that John Caton served as Captain for the Upper District of Motherkill Hundred in Kent Co., DE in 1757. The surnames found on the transcript of enlisted men include many names found later in Rowan Co., NC along with Caton.
