Chester "Chet" Jevorutsky, age 89, formerly of Pound, WI, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Serenity Gardens Assisted Living in Gillett, WI. He was born to the late John and Martha (Sheteck) Jevorutsky May 4, 1932.

Chester married the late Shirley Rakowski on July 24, 1954 at Section Eight Baptist Church, Pound, where he was a member until his passing.

Chester took great pride in continuing the Jevorutsky dairy farm where he and Shirley also raised their own family of 4 and instilled in them the value of hard work.
Chester was an avid reader and WWII history buff and loved a good visit with former classmates, friends and family members throughout the years.

Surviving are a son Richard Jevorutsky, Pound, WI;
and a daughter, Leanne (Randy) Hoffman, Prairie du Sac, WI;
10 grandchildren: Shannon Jevorutsky, Shalyn VanderBloemen, Justin (Molly) VanderBloemen, Joel Jeavons, Olivia Jeavons, Ethan Hoffman, Ben Hoffman, Abigail Hoffman, Joshua Hoffman and Hannah Hoffman.
Three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Wyatt, and Josie VanderBloemen.

Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Shirley; two daughters: Jan VanderBloemen and Julie Jeavons and all of his 8 siblings.

The family will greet relatives and friends Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Section Eight Baptist Church, Pound from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 AM with Pastor Kevin Holland officiating. Chester will be placed to rest at First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
